Black Pepper oil is steam distilled from the black peppercorns and is probably best known for it's use in massage formulations with overworked muscles.

Black Pepper is produced by the steam distillation of the dried, crushed, not-quite-ripe fruits of the pepper plant. Pepper has been esteemed as a spice in India for many centuries and is dispersed in trade throughout the world. In the Middle Ages in Europe, pepper was of great importance to season and preserve meat and to mask the odors of rancid foods. 

Black Pepper is used in Ayurvedic medicine for its carminative, warming and eliminative properties. 

Fortifying, warming and strengthening. Black Pepper aromatherapy oil is known to be very stimulating physically and mentally. Therefore it may be an aid for alertness and stamina. 

Blends well with all Citrus, Frankincense, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vetiver.

Caution: Use with care in massage, bath or compresses. A possible skin irritant. 

This essential oil is known to have antiviral properties, acts as a bacteriacide and antispasmodic, and may provide relief for head colds, sore throats, and the flu. It also aids in digestion, making it a valuable tool for overall wellness.
