Jasmine has enchanted human beings with its use as perfume for thousands of years. It goes by the common names, “Queen of the Night” and “Moonlight Grove.”
Jasmine Grandiflorum and Jasmine Sambac are both contained in the blend, giving a full spectrum experience of Jasmine’s intensely sweet and floral bouquet.
Jasmine Grandiflorum is the type of Jasmine that blooms in the early morning, releasing an irresistible aroma, while Jasmine Sambac spreads its seductive scent by blooming in the evening. Jasmine Grandiflorum has a more complex scent sometimes reminiscent of tea, with a thick, dark, reddish-brown color. Jasmine Sambac is lighter and more floral.
Jojoba oil is not actually an oil, but a plant wax. Jojoba has a neutral scent and is very absorbable by the skin, making it ideal for diluting essential oils for topical use. It also does not go rancid, giving these perfumes a long shelf life.
Vitamin E is a natural preservative, having antioxidant and skin-nourishing properties.
